This was a very nice video for me to wake up to this morning. It can be hard for me to get out of bed sometimes, but I am very thankful to wake up in a warm bed, in America, in a cozy apartment, with food in the kitchen. But if that question were asked to me... Where would I like to wake up tomorrow?... I would like to wake up on a cool summer's morning, in a tent, at the camp ground I stayed at last year, with the sound of birds signing, leaves rustling, fire crackling, the smell of the fire, the morning dew, and the feeling of Chris right beside me, keeping me so warm and comfortable. I some times imagine I'm there again, and I relax and smile.
Art Night is an evening typically taking place on the first Friday of each month. A group of local artists gather to bounce ideas, chat, laugh, eat, drink and be merry. We bring an art piece which we create based on the theme that we have drawn from a hat. We have a month to compose, conspire, create an original piece in whatever medium you can dream up (we’re not partial). Come with piece in tow, we will display and discuss, so please don’t be shy! It’s a motivating, fun and refreshing experience. You may also bring friends, and attend even if you don’t feel you have any artistic abilities; we are a pretty accepting, pressure-free bunch. Plus we have had some amazing projects, so you may want to join us just for a little visual stimulation.
